The idiot box can provide quite a bit of entertainment, and I have listed just a few of my favourite shows, as well as some obscure ones I have run across.
A show I find extremely funny, however I am extremely disappointed by the 4th season, as the show has become more like a soap opera rather than a sitcom. The first three seasons are great and well worth watching.
Sanctuary is one of those scifi shows you either love or hate, I find it quite entertaining and worth giving a try if you like something a bit different.
The secret adventures of Jules Verne is one of those obscure tv series that you sometimes run across and enjoy. The short lived series was set when Jules Verne was a young man, and although most people would think of this as a scifi series, it's actually steampunk.
More information about the show can be found at tv.com or at The Steampunk Tribune.
An enjoyable spinoff of the Indiana Jones movies. The series ran for two seasons and chronicaled the adventures of Henry Jones Jr aka Indiana Jones.
A tv series developed by Joss Whedon( Buffy the vampire slayer, Angel) that is set in the distant future. The series developed a cult following, and many years after it's cancellation, the movie Serenity was created based on the tv series.
Both the series and the movie are among my favourites.
Guilty of watching the series, as a lot of people are. The Simpsons has been a part of my tv viewing for many years now and will probably be so for many to come.
